Why do we get up every morning?

I am sure that each one of us has in one way or the other trouble waking up in the morning, especially those who have to go to work earlier than the lucky ones. But what is it that actually makes us get up and step out of the bedroom, get ready and start the day. Sometimes it just can be the inviting smell of coffee or the less inviting pile of work or kids who have to be taken care of or cute animals which even wake us up or our empty stomach.
Did you actually notice that our brain wakes up earlier than we do? It is like a rain of thoughts which crawls between our deep sucli and gyri of our brain, reminding us of things that we need to do, thoughts that remind us who we are, get us back to reality and finally become so loud and intruding that we do not have any chance than to wake up.

It seems to me that we internally and unconsciously are bound to some sort of  circle; be it circle of life or circle of day and night, of time and nature. As if whatever we do, or want to do, wish and desire we unintentionally and independently are stuck in some sort of mechanism which makes us wake up, get up and start the day going with the flow of time and things. Funny, that even weekends, let’s say Sundays when according to the bible we should rest we still find things that we have to tackle, to do and to finish. There is no end to anything and never will be. We have always been within a bigger circle which nourishes itself by the unstoppable drive of every human being to move forward and to discover new things day by day. I think that we don’t even notice that the reason we actually get up every morning is that we are driven to do so, driven by an imaginary force which keeps us alive, lets us breathe in the warmth and feel the colours of life.

Good morning, my friend! How did you sleep? Are you grumpy today or did you wake up with a big smile on your face and can’t wait to start the day?

But why some of us get up grumpy and some of us wake up with full of joy and energy?
As I said, everything is connected with each other. So, whatever you did the day before or in general will affect you the following day. If you are happy with yourself and have the feeling that you achieved some of the things you were wishing and working for, you had a great day with your family and friends or at work, you will get up with a better feelling and be more motivated to go on and make more positive experiences. In other words, all your emotions connected with each event will follow you the next day. So, the ways in which you express yourself in every section of your life will form and sculpture you and will create the person you are with all your moods, emotions, motivations and desires. We could even say, that who you are will determine why you get up every morning and more importantly in which mood will you face the world!

So, my friend, get up! Coffee is waiting for you!
